Parking Structure Info
We tried to get the parking structure company to just leave the gate open but had no success. The parking company is not affiliated with our venue. We are left with the following solution.
When you park in the parking structure designated for the 24 hour fitness location, a machine will dispense a ticket as you enter the gate. BRING THIS TICKET INTO THE CLUB and you’ll see a validation machine at the front reception desk. Slide your ticket into the machine and you will have free parking for the first four hours (the time is shown on the ticket). When you leave the parking structure, you’ll need to slide your ticket into the gate to exit. If you’re within the four hour period there’ll be no charge. If you want to stay for more than 4 hours, you can turn right around and re-enter the parking structure and get a new ticket and repeat this process as often as you like.
If you go beyond the four hours or forget to validate your ticket, you can pay for your parking at the pay station located in the elevator lobby at ground level, or you can slide your credit card into the gate when you exit. The parking fee is $3.50 per hour, $14.00 maximum. If you lose your ticket, you’ll be required to pay the $14.00 maximum fee to exit the parking structure. Be forewarned that after 9 pm on saturday night there will be no parking attendants or security in the parking structure. There will also be a low level of lighting along the exterior pathways leading to and from the club.
In summary, if you don’t want to pay for parking you will have to move your car in and out of the structure every 4 hours. However, if you are like me, I am staying so long that I will just pay the $14 max fee and not worry about the parking cost. You can see from the picture above that the walk from the structure to the venue is pretty far for us Orange County types so it’s worth saving my legs for dancing.

Is the parking structure on the same side of von Karman ave as the 24 Hr Fitness building? How far is is from the latter?
Whats the best way to get there from downtown LA?

$14 is worth it. I just paid $38/day in Seattle.
Honestly find a carpool!!! I’d rather donate $14 dollars to City of Hope!!!!!
So, where’s the entrance? Is it facing the 405 fwy or by the parking structure because i’m going to get dropped off.
Public transit from Los Angeles to Orange County is quite the hassle. You’re best off taking Amtrak from Union Station to Irvine. I’m not sure of the local connections from Amtrak to the event.
As for the validation, we send out a team member with our entire team’s tickets and have them drive around for a few minutes. It’s kind of a fun distraction and if everyone shares the duties then no one would have to do this more than twice. That’s driving in and out of the parking lot and re-validating. Totally worth it.
It takes an hour by Amtrak to get from downtown Los Angeles to Irvine. That’s without knowing where the station is or which connection to take.
