| Personal dedications | Thanks to the medical advancements in the fields of cancer, my mom's breast cancer was caught in its early stages and her doctors were able to treat her without any adverse repercussions.
Additionally, I have two friends who are cancer survivors, and though my grandmother died from lymphatic cancer, she was able to beat it twice and have that much more time with the people she loved. I know there is no single, definitive cure for cancer. The money we're raising simply helps fund research to address the millions of risks and problems associated with preventing, identifying and treating cancer.
