I am pleased to announce that Dean Mora and his all-star musicians will be playing at 8 p.m. during the 24 Hour Dance-a-thon and will keep us swinging through the evening.
I have always been a fan of Dean Mora and his band of musicians and always make it out to see him play. But I don’t think I ever realized what a stellar musician he is until I saw him play at the Nethercutt Collection. Mr. Mora played on the third largest theater pipe organ in the world, improvising along to the antics of Buster Keaton during a silent film screening. Yes, you read that correctly – all of the music was improvised and played on the spot. His musicality and touch of comedic timing was so flawless that I kept forgetting that I was listening to live music and not to a pre-recorded soundtrack.
So get your dance shoes on to see a live band for a great cause. Hope to see you there!
