Come out this Saturday, February 20th, to Third Saturday Swing and show off your Lindy skills in the next qualifying heat of Le Tour de Dance!
Le Tour de Dance is a fundraising jack and jill, where your $5 entry fee goes as a direct donation to the 24 Hour Cancer Dance-a-thon. Finalists from the heats will compete at the final Le Tour de Dance during the 24 Hour Dance-a-thon. Le Tour de Dance was created by Fred Fielding, who was inspired by Lance Armstrong’s courageous battle with cancer, and wanted to bring a little bit of the excitement of the Tour de France to the dance scene. The winners will receive a yellow jersey as a way of saying thank you for their dancing and participation. Third Saturday Swing is hosted by the Ben and Sheri at the Dance Family Studio located at 25 N. Allen (off of Colorado Blvd.), Pasadena, CA 91106. Shesha and Nikki Marvin are DJing, the Atomic Cherry Bombs are performing, and it will be a night of rollicking good fun.
