I am pleased to announce that the one, the only Mr. Maxwell DeMille will be our Master of Ceremonies from 4pm-Midnight on Saturday!  Mr. DeMille can be seen every Sunday night at the Cicada Club, one of my favorite venues.  Mr. DeMille took time out of his busy schedule to answer a few questions for this intrepid reporter:

1. What inspired you to get involved with the 24 Hour Cancer Dance-  a-thon?

It’s a great cause! I’m always happy to support it.

2. When you’re not organizing and running some of southern California’s finest venues, what’s a typical day in the life of Maxwell DeMille?

Lately I’ve been planning events for the next Fort MacArthur Museum fundraiser, working on programming the Los Angeles Conservancy’s “Last Remaining Seats” film festival and keeping my eyes open for new talent for the Cicada Club.

4. What’s next for Mr. DeMille?

Dance-a-Thon, of course!

Check out the schedule below and come to one of the amazing events that are happening.  If you haven’t seen a silent film, I highly recommend it!  And be sure to make reservations at the Cicada Club – held in the gorgeous Oviatt Building, it’s an Art Deco mecca in the heart of Los Angeles, where the food is great, the drinks are strong, the band is hot, and the dancing never stops!
