Pete Jacobs and his wartime radio revue

You’re going to be hard pressed to find a time during the Lindy Hop for Hope 24 Hour Cancer Dance-a-thon when you’ll want to sit out, especially since Pete Jacobs and His Wartime Radio Revue, will be performing.

Pete Jacobs and His Wartime Revue are renowned throughout Southern California as one of the most danceable bands around. The Wartime Revue is a sixteen piece band that includes an eight piece horn section led by a female vocalist to bring back the swingin’ sounds of the 1930s and 1940s. One of the most fun aspects of Pete Jacobs and His Wartime Revue is that their performance is reminiscent of the U.S.O. shows of yesteryear – wearing their Army-inspired uniforms, they intersperse commercials and news breaks along with the swing dance music that dancers everywhere know and love.

Please stop by the band’s website at http://www.wartimeradio.com/home.html to find out more information about them.
