The name “San Francisco Bal Fest” is a little misleading. Although the event is dedicated to celebrating the dance Balboa, this dance weekend is also home to the North American Open Swing Championships and includes workshops and contests dedicated to Balboa, Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Collegiate Shag, with a special dedication to the original dancers who inspire us all.
The event organizer, Burnie Gipson, has donated TWO PASSES to his event to be used as one of our prizes for one of our contests, a gift to one of our top contributors, or to be included in our silent auction.
