Stompy Jones, the legendary sextet from San Francisco will be dazzling us with their style of rhythm and blues and Louis Prima-inspired good old fashioned rock-n-roll.
For all of the dancers who normally spend Saturday nights dancing to Stompy at Disneyland, never fear – Stompy will be coming to the 24 Hour Cancer Dance-a-thon right after their usual gig at the Carnation Plaza.
Led by Christopher Binning’s soulful vocals, Stompy Jones features Little David Rose on stand-up bass, Lee Dreary on drums, Erv Ervin on saxophone, Robert Dehlinger on trumpet, and Scott Lawrence on piano. There’s no doubt that when midnight comes around everyone will be rushing to the dance floor!
