"Full Swing Ahead" Album
The Dance-a-thon is proud to announce that The Fabulous Esquires Big Band has been added to the growing list of bands who will be playing at the 2010 event. This will mark the 5th time that they have donated their talents to the Dance-a-thon.
Dance-a-thon founder Shesha Marvin expressed his appreciation for The Fabulous Esquires’ contunued participation, saying, “It’s a special effort to organize and arrange such a large group of musicians. Wolf, the band leader always goes out of his way for the Dance-a-thon. I can’t imagine the event without him.”
The Fabulous Esquires have been performing authentic dance music of the “Big Band Era” and swing music of the ’30s and ’40s around Southern California for over forty years. They are part of The Esquire Music Foundation, which is a non-profit foundation dedicated to teaching young musicians how to play this unique style of music, and hopefully go on to join the band.
